Overview

The GNSO Post-Expiration Domain Name Recovery (PEDNR) Policy Development Process Working Group has been addressing questions in relation to what extent should gTLD registrants be able to reclaim their domain names after they expire? At issue is whether the current policies of gTLD registrars on the renewal, transfer and deletion of expired domain names are adequate. Following the publication of its Initial Report, subsequent review of public comments received and continued deliberations, the Working Group has now published its proposed Final Report for community review and comment. This session will provide an overview of the proposed recommendations and hopes to encourage discussion and input that can be considered before the PEDNR Working Group finalized its report.

Who Should Attend? | Anyone interested in issues related to expiration and renewal of gTLD domain name registrations.
